Do regular exercise such as cycling, walking, jogging, dancing or swimming for a minimum of 30 minutes per day. Invest at least 150 minutes of your week in exercise.Maintain a low fat and a low sugar diet. Replace carbohydrates containing foods with whole grains, fruits and vegetables as carbohydrates turn to sugars leading to high blood sugar. Avoid consumption of alcohol and quit smoking.

Contradicition of drug name
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Glimepiride 2 mg + metformin 500 mg tablets.Glimepiride 2mg + metformin 500 mg tablets may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby.Glimepiride 2 mg + metformin 500 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.Glimepiride 2 mg + metformin 500 mg tablets should be used with caution in patients with liver disease.

â—‰Drug-Drug Interaction – The drug drug interaction with antibiotics (rifampicin, trimethoprim), calcium channel blockers (verapamil), antacid (cimetidine), HIV/AIDS drugs (dolutegravir), Heart-medicine (ranolazine), anticancer(vandetanib, crizotinib, olaparib), antifungals (fluconazole, miconazole), Diuretic (acetazolamide), antidiabetic drug (insulin), anticonvulsants (phenytoin). Drug food interaction : It may interact with alcohol. Therefore, avoid consumption of alcohol with this tablet as it may increase the risk of lactic acidosis (accumulation of lactic acid in the body). Drug-Disease interaction : Inform your doctos if you have severe infections, uncontrolled diabetes, lactic acidosis or ketoacidosis (accumulation of ketone bodies in the blood), dehydration, liver or kidney problems.
