How does the Drug work
◉Ramipril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, a medication used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure), heart failure, and to prevent heart attack and stroke.
◉ Ramipril works by blocking the action of ACE, an enzyme responsible for converting angiotensin I into angiotensin II. Angiotensin II is a hormone that constricts blood vessels and increases blood pressure. By inhibiting the production of angiotensin II, Ramipril causes the blood vessels to relax and widen, reducing blood pressure and improving blood flow to the heart.
